How Fledge works
Upload your CV, say what you are looking for and where, and press one button. Nine AI agents then do the parts of a job search that are pure grind. You read what they produce, and you press send.
What you do
- Sign in with a one-time passcode sent to your email or your phone. There is no password.
- Upload your CV. Fledge reads it into a structured form that you check and confirm. Reading your first CV costs nothing.
- Say what you are looking for: a graduate role, a placement or sandwich year, an internship or a school-leaver programme; the sectors that interest you; and the part of the UK you want to work in. The agents assume no field of study. They read what you tell them and infer the rest from your CV.
- Press Start. Your first jobs search costs nothing. It is capped at a few job boards, with your top matches ranked by AI and no company outreach.
Only two things start the agents: the Start button, and a daily run you can switch on with a plan. Nothing runs quietly in the background.
What the agents do
Each agent has one job. For advertised jobs:
- Sofia, the Sourcer, finds the job boards and the employer careers pages worth watching for your course and your region.
- Rohan, the Reader, pulls the fresh listings from each of those sources.
- Rachel, the Recruiter, scores every listing from 0 to 100 against your CV, with a one-line reason on the strong matches.
- Silas, the Spy, writes a brief on the employer, from recent news to how its interview process runs and what the role tends to pay.
- Esme, the Evaluator, names the skills that keep appearing in the jobs you shortlisted and that your CV does not show. She needs at least three shortlisted jobs.
- Gabriel, the Ghostwriter, drafts a tailored cover letter and a reordered CV for each job you choose.
- Cleo, the Coach, prepares you for the interview, from the questions you are likely to get to the questions you should ask back, and critiques your practice answers.
- Callum, the Closer, answers screening-form questions from your CV and, once you have read the application and pressed send, sends it from your own Gmail.
For the employers who never advertise:
- Sofia also lists local employers worth approaching who have no vacancy posted.
- Sana, the Scout, finds the best contact address at each one, with a grade for how sure she is.
- Silas researches the firm and Gabriel drafts a short speculative email, then Cleo prepares you for the conversation it may start.
What you see
The pipeline view and the activity panel show you what each agent did and is doing, step by step. Every job carries its score and, for the strong matches, the reason in one line. There is no black box: you can see exactly what your AI did.
What you decide
You read every draft, correct it and remove anything you did not do. Nothing is sent unless you press send. Sending goes through your own Gmail if you choose to connect it, or through your usual mail app. When an employer answers, the message comes to you, and you record the outcome in Fledge yourself.
The agents use AI models that can get things wrong, and they sometimes invent details that are not in your CV. Treat every draft as a draft.
What Fledge is not
- Fledge works like a personal job-search team that you direct and approve. It does not list jobs for everyone, and it does not reformat CVs.
- It does not book interviews or manage a calendar, and it does not work on your LinkedIn profile.
- It is for the UK only, and for people aged 16 or older. It does not yet serve experienced hires or career changers, or postgraduate research roles.
